Yin Yoga Workshops are perfect for both those interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Yin Yoga. The ultimate chi-out! An extended opportunity for registered Yoga teachers looking to gain further training hours (CPD points) with YA Professionals. Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, that are held for longer periods of time – two to five minutes – while relaxing and surrendering into the shapes.
During the workshop I also explain how Yin Yoga works in the deeper levels of the body. The long holds stretch the connective tissues of the ligaments, fascia, joints and bones and most importantly stimulate the chi-flow through the energetic channels of the meridians. The long held, passive nature of the postures allow time for a deeper journey to unfold. Yin yoga release tightness within the joints but is also a journey into the meditative aspects of Yoga, therefore a bridge to living life mindfully.
